Little Vineyard is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the views are just beautiful. But the real star is the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxed meal with top-notch service and amazing food. Can’t wait to come back!

We got married at TLV in Nov 2022. We fell in love with the venue when we visited, for the beautiful ceremony set up and warm and welcoming reception area. We liked that the venue is fit for purpose for weddings, and is convenient to go straight from ceremony to reception and lots of easy locations onsite for good photos without really having to walk anywhere. The photos turned out perfectly and we were so happy we chose TLV for this reason. We also loved the food and drink selection, and the tasting was the most helpful thing we did to prepare because we also had a meeting and organised our run sheet. We found that the venue were very flexible to cater for whatever we wanted to do on the day, and they catered very well for guest dietaries which we really appreciated. The down side was we found the communication not great, there isn’t a dedicated event planner and different staff answered our emails. Sometimes we needed to email a second time to get a response. On the day there were a couple of small hiccups - we had arranged with the venue that they would open earlier for the florist and cake drop off, but no one was at the venue at the agreed time. Unfortunately we were only given one mobile contact of the owner/chef and about 9 phone calls went unanswered. This was a bit stressful on the day as I had to organise someone else to deliver the cake later. The florist jumped the fence to start setting up thank goodness. The dried petals for our ceremony exit were forgotten on the day. A couple of other minor things were forgotten but the day ran smoothly overall with no big dramas. We fed these things back to the venue and they refunded the petals. We gave feedback that a final meeting would have avoided these issues and they took this on, although we never had contact with the main owner, just a staff member replying on his behalf. Overall we had a spectacular day and were very happy to be married at The Little Vineyard, and we have beautiful photos and memories. A dedicated event coordinator, or even just a final meeting the week or two before the wedding, would make this venue even better. That said, it is a bit cheaper than other Yarra Valley winery wedding venues. Thank you TLV for hosting our wedding!

Fantastic food, but you may freeze!

I recently had short notice to organise my mother's wake and the Little Vineyard was extremely accommodating and helpful. They provided amazing food, a more than generous bar, and rearranged the entire venue so we could have the setup we (and she) wanted. It was such an amazing venue and they handled our event tactfully and with love. I will absolutely be using them again.

What a wedding venue!!! Fabulous location, unbelievably delicious food presented so beautifully, such a variety and amazing servings. But the real magic was created and maintained by the amazing staff, lead by Tanya. A bridesmaid hiccup caused an hour and a half delay, and the incredible flexibility and generosity of the staff kept 72 guests happy, relaxed, and comfortable while they waited for the ceremony to start. Such was the level of attentiveness, care and management by staff that all comments at the end of the night were only of the beauty of the gathering, the celebration of the newly weds and joy of the occasion. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough!!!

My partner, Richard and i recently got married at the little vineyard on 7 September 2024. It was an amazing venue, the staff were awesome and vibe for our wedding was exactly what we had visioned, an intimate, rustic, fun and vineyard style setting. From our first visit when searching for a wedding venue, it immediately met our vision, needs and the staff were so supportive, flexible and easy to work with throughout the journey. A special thanks to Tanya who is an amazing person, an expert wedding organiser and who went over and above for us on our wedding day! We are so very appreciative and know we made the right decision having our wedding at the little vineyard, it was perfect!

WOW! What can we say about the little vineyard! It was our first venue to visit & we fell in love with the place straight away. The staff, especially Glenn & Tanya, responded to our queries very quickly and we were booked in before we knew it. The tasting nights were entertaining and run smoothly, and gave us peace of mind of what the food would be like on the day and it didn’t disappoint. The scenery of this venue was breathtaking and we couldn’t have been luckier to come across this place. This venue is very open to anything you have in mind for your wedding which was exactly what we needed. Every guest at our wedding commented on how lovely the venue was and many said it was the best wedding venue they’ve ever been to. Catering at this place is amazing! Not just the meals but the hordsd'oeubres as well. The meals tasted so good! Didn't have a favourite-they were all great!

Did not end up using the venue only because of change of circumstances but will say that the owner and staff have been lovely to deal with and very accomadating, upon inspection of the venue it's has a lovely outlook and atmosphere definitely worth a look if you're considering a function

What can we say about The Little Vineyard? We had our intimate wedding there 3 weeks ago and we could not be happier with how everything went. Having a guest list of only 37, we knew it would be challenging to find a venue to cater for our needs but once we found this little gem the search stopped! Great communication, great food and a great team. The team were attentive to us, the bride and groom, as well as our guests, especially those with food allergies. They made sure that the GF desserts were separated from the rest and they remembered who had allergies and made sure to offer them their desserts personally. The atmosphere and vibe is lovely and we will definitely remember this venue for future events. The photo booth is a great added bonus that our guests enjoyed. Thank you to the Going Gourmet team for making our special day a reality and leaving our guests with full bellies and nothing but compliments! Jordan & Chris

Our party to celebrate my son’s marriage overseas was a huge success and I would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Little Vineyard for all that they did. Shae-Lee and Tanya in particular were so kind and patient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All our guests have said it was fabulous and most importantly Anthony and Julia were thrilled and very appreciative. I would recommend this lovely venue to everyone.

We felt initially very comfortable at The Little Vineyard and "right" when we first had conversations over email then in person at the vineyard.
Our priorities were for people to be fed well and a lot, lots of drinks available the whole night and a space that was sensible and well thought out. We were also aware of potential rain and wind so wanted something undercover outside also.

All we could say was wow. The whole process was seamless. The venue got so many complements, the staff on the night, the food was amaaazing and drinks plenty.

Tanya you made us feel so comfortable and completely took away any additional stress for the walk down the aisle.

We were particularly impressed through the whole process of the "can do" attitudes and all the staff bring happy to accommodate the small details we wanted- such as bringing our own cake.

You made our night relaxed, guests very full and happy and completely stress free. We were so pleased we could feel like invitees to our own day. My only regret is I didnt eat one of every canape! Haha.

We just had our wedding at The Little Vineyard and it was everything I dreamed of and more. The setting is amazing, having our ceremony under the arbour looking out over the rolling hills of the Yarra valley. The reception space is beautiful and rustic. The staff were AMAZING. Prompt communication for all my questions, and on the night they were so lovely and helpful. It was also a really well priced venue, especially for the service that we received. Highly recommend this venue to anybody wanting a beautiful wedding

A Lovely Celebration at The Little Vineyard My wife and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our friends' 30th wedding anniversary at The Little Vineyard, and it turned out to be a truly memorable occasion. This charming venue offered us a cozy, intimate setting that was perfect for commemorating such a special milestone. The moment we arrived, we were enveloped by the relaxing atmosphere and the warmth of the staff. The Little Vineyard has a quaint outdoor area, which we took advantage of by going for a leisurely stroll, admiring the picturesque surroundings, and soaking up the sunshine. It was an idyllic way to spend our time together, chatting and laughing amidst the natural beauty of the vineyard. The venue itself was well-maintained and exuded an inviting vibe that made us feel right at home. We couldn't help but be in high spirits as we enjoyed each other's company in such a delightful setting. While we had a fantastic time at The Little Vineyard, I'm giving it four stars simply because there's always room for a little improvement, but overall, our experience was nothing short of wonderful. If you're looking for a happy, positive place to celebrate a special occasion or simply spend quality time with friends and family, The Little Vineyard should definitely be on your radar. We're grateful for the memories we made there and look forward to returning for future celebrations!
